Shipping Policy

At Charming Dwelling, we strive to ensure a seamless delivery experience. Below is an overview of our shipping policies:

Order Confirmation

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we will start our fulfillment process. All orders are processed and shipped within 1-4 business days. Transit times vary from 5-7 business days.


1. Free Shipping

  • We offer free shipping on all orders via FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, or the most affordable available carrier.
  • Delivery is curbside only, so please arrange for assistance if needed.

2. Delivery Limitations

  • Inside Deliveries: The carrier will not deliver items inside your home, garage, kitchen, or any other indoor location. All deliveries are curbside only.
  • Undeliverable Addresses: If your address is deemed undeliverable by the shipping carrier, you may incur additional charges for alternative delivery methods.
  • PO Boxes: We do not ship to PO Boxes.

3. Order Tracking

  • Tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse.
  • If you have not received tracking information within six business days, please contact us at sales@charmingdwelling.com.

4. Order Cancellations or Refusals

If an order is canceled or refused after shipping, a restocking fee and shipping fee will apply based on the brand:

  • ZLINE: 15% Restocking Fee
  • Thor Kitchen: 15% Restocking Fee
  • MRCOOL: 35% Restocking Fee + Return Shipping Fee
  • Empava: 25% Restocking Fee + Return Shipping Fee

In some cases, the customer may be responsible for packing and shipping the item back via a FedEx or similar carrier.


5. Adjusting Shipping Address

  • If your order has not been processed, you can update the shipping address free of charge.
  • If the order is already in transit, a $175 fee will apply to update the address with the freight carrier.

6. Shipping for Large Items

  • Large or heavy items (e.g., ranges or refrigerators) are shipped via LTL (less-than-truckload) carriers.
  • The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment, and someone must be present to sign for the delivery.
  • Curbside delivery is free, but additional fees may apply for rescheduled or refused deliveries.

7. Handling Damaged Deliveries

  • Visible Damage:
    • Take photos and refuse the package.
    • Note the damage on the Bill of Lading or Freight Bill and email the photos to sales@charmingdwelling.com.
  • Hidden Damage:
    • Inspect the product immediately after delivery.
    • If damage is found, take photos and contact us within 24 hours.
    • Damage claims made after 24 hours are not eligible for resolution.

8. Returns and Exchanges

  • Retain the original box, packaging, and pallet in case a return or exchange is needed.
  • All returned items must include original packaging, manuals, and accessories. Refunds will be issued after inspection at the warehouse.
  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take up to 72 hours to reflect.
