Shipping Policy

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all eligible orders via FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, or the most cost-effective available carrier. All deliveries are curbside only — please plan ahead and arrange any additional help needed to move your order inside or to its final location.

In rare cases, additional shipping charges may apply for remote areas or locations outside standard carrier service areas. If this applies to your order, our team will contact you before shipment.

If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for delivery access, this cost is the responsibility of the customer. Charming Dwelling does not cover COI fees or building-specific delivery requirements.

When will my order arrive?
All orders are processed and shipped within 1–4 business days. Transit times are typically 5–7 business days. Actual delivery times may vary depending on carrier availability and your delivery location.

Will the carrier deliver inside my home?
No. All deliveries are curbside only. The carrier will not bring items inside your home, garage, kitchen, or any other indoor location. Please arrange assistance in advance.

What if my address is undeliverable?
If the shipping carrier deems your address undeliverable, additional charges may apply for alternative delivery methods.

Can I ship to a PO Box?
No, we do not ship to PO Boxes.

How can I track my order?
Tracking information will be sent to the email provided at checkout within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse. Once received, please allow up to 48 hours for tracking details to update. If you haven’t received tracking within 6 business days, please contact us at sales@charmingdwelling.com.

What if I cancel or refuse my order after it’s shipped?
If an order is canceled or refused after shipment, a restocking fee and return shipping fee will apply based on the brand:

  • ZLINE → 15% Restocking Fee
  • Thor Kitchen → 15% Restocking Fee
  • MRCOOL → 35% Restocking Fee + Return Shipping Fee
  • Empava → 25% Restocking Fee + Return Shipping Fee

In some cases, the customer may be responsible for packing and returning the item via FedEx or a similar carrier.

Can I adjust my shipping address?
If your order has not yet been processed, you can update your shipping address free of charge. If the order is already in transit, a $175 fee will apply to update the address with the freight carrier.

How are large items shipped?
Large or heavy items such as ranges or refrigerators ship via LTL (less-than-truckload) carriers. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment and someone must be present to sign for the delivery. Curbside delivery is free, but additional charges may apply for rescheduled or refused deliveries.

What should I do if my package arrives damaged?
⚠️ IF A PACKAGE IS VISIBLY DAMAGED — REFUSE THAT ITEM WITH THE SHIPPER.

Accept all other items in your delivery as normal. Refuse the damaged package with the driver, then email us at sales@charmingdwelling.com with your order number and photos. We’ll resolve it promptly.

If the box looks fine but damage is found after opening, take photos immediately and contact us within 24 hours. Damage claims reported after 24 hours are not eligible for resolution.

What should I keep in case of a return or exchange?
Please retain the original box, packaging, and pallet for all products in case a return or exchange is needed.

Do you ship outside the contiguous United States?
Free shipping applies to the 48 contiguous states only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, or any other U.S. territories, islands, or international destinations including Canada. We will not honor returns for shipments outside our standard shipping range.
