Why does the condenser say 55K but the total zone capacity is 45K?
This is normal for multi-zone systems. The condenser is rated at 55K BTU to handle the combined load of all zones efficiently. The actual zone capacities are 9K + 36K = 45K BTU total. The oversized condenser ensures reliable performance across both zones simultaneously.

Why are the two zones so different in size?
This configuration is ideal for homes with one small room (bedroom, office, guest room) and one large open area (great room, open-plan living, basement). Both zones are controlled independently from a single outdoor unit.

How do I choose the right line set lengths?
Measure the distance from your outdoor condenser to each indoor air handler location. Add a few feet of slack. The 9K zone uses a 1/4" x 3/8" line set; the 36K zone uses a 3/8" x 5/8" line set. Both are included in your selected combination.

Does this qualify for tax credits or rebates?
