Thor Wall Oven 30-Inch Professional Self-Cleaning Single Wall Oven in Stainless Steel, HEW3001

We bought the wall oven two month. Not sure if we've missed that part when doing research on the oven, but we thought the oven would require hardwiring, like our old one. To our surprise, the oven came with a plug! Luckily, the fix was easy, we just bought a proper receptacle for $5 from a local hardware store to creat a wall outlet. Just wanted to mention this here for other buyers considering this oven. Now, about the oven itself. It's a great sharp looking oven! It has a big viewing glass area and basic features needed for everyday cooking needs. It heats up fairly fast thanks to pretty powerful heating elements and bakes evenly. We replaced our vantage analogue Kelvinator wall oven with a side swing door, and I thought I would hate digital controls. But the touch screen works nicely, looks great with white digits, the beeps are not loud (which is nice for me) and the sound can be turned off. The only thing I wish this oven had is the up & down button to inclrease/decrease temperature without cancelling the cycle and setting up new temperature. Most time I don't need it, but it would be nice to have. As well as the ability to set the temperature in 5 degrees increments instead of preset 25 (ex. from 375 to 390, instead of 400 degrees). The cooling fun was a new feature to me as our old oven didn't have it. It was a bit annoying at first to hear it running after the oven is turned off, but we got used to it. Typically, it stops in 20-30 mins, but the display would show Hot for a little longer. The door seal is very good, unlike it was in our old oven, and no heat escapes outside other than what is exausted by a fun underneath the oven door. Therefore, I think the oven uses energy eficiently. You will notice a condensation inside the door glass when cooking foods with high moisture content. It's normal! This is caused by expansion of the interior glass to allow for the fluctuation of temperature. The condensation will go away in a few days slowly, if you are not cooking, or during your next baking. Overall, we are very happy with the product! It's easy to keep it clean, inside and outside. We love the simplicity of the oven, its functionality, the baked/roasted goods results and the quality of the product so far.

Bought the oven a year ago, and absolutely love it. Its heats up quicker and cooks faster than any other brand i have had in the past.
